Step-by-step: how the procedure works

Mesotherapy delivers a customized vitamin, mineral, peptide, and minoxidil cocktail directly into the scalp via micro-injections. Non-surgical maintenance treatment for early thinning and post-transplant support.

1. 1

   Consultation & scalp assessment

   20–30 min

   Clinician examines your scalp, possibly under trichoscopy magnification, and customizes the injection cocktail based on your specific deficiencies.

   Cocktail preparation

   5 min

   Vitamins (B-complex, biotin), minerals (zinc, selenium), amino acids, peptides, and sometimes minoxidil or finasteride are mixed into a single injectable solution.

   Scalp cleaning

   5 min

   Antiseptic applied. Topical numbing cream optional but commonly used for sensitive patients.

   Micro-injections

   15–20 min

   0.1–0.2 ml deposits injected into the dermis across the scalp every 1–2 cm using a 4 mm fine needle. Some clinics use a mesotherapy gun for faster, more uniform delivery.

   Immediate recovery

   0–2 hours

   Mild redness and tiny puncture marks. You can leave the clinic immediately. No bandaging or restrictions other than not washing the scalp for 24 hours.

   Session schedule

   8–10 sessions

   Typically weekly for the first month, then every 2–4 weeks for 4–6 months. Maintenance every 2–3 months thereafter to sustain results.

   Visible results

   2–4 months

   Reduced shedding within 2–3 weeks. Thicker hair shaft and slight density improvement within 3 months. Results highly variable — mesotherapy works best as adjunct to FDA-proven treatments.

   Long-term maintenance

   Results fade if maintenance stops. Most patients combine mesotherapy with minoxidil or finasteride for compounding effect.
