Hairvise is an independent information platform providing data on hair transplant clinics in Turkey. We are not a medical provider, booking agent, or travel facilitator. This page explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR and Turkey's KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu).

1. Data controller

Hairvise — operated by Ali Osman, contact: [email protected]. We act as the data controller for any personal information processed through this site.

2. What information we collect

• Anonymous analytics — page views, time on page, device type, country. Collected via Vercel Analytics. No IP address is stored, no cookies are placed for analytics, no advertising trackers are used.
• Newsletter email — if you submit your email to the "Honest updates" newsletter, we store it solely to send monthly clinic-verification updates. Unsubscribe via the link in any email.
• Opt-out form data — if a clinic representative submits the opt-out form (/opt-out), we collect the email + clinic name + verification details. Used only to verify the request and update the directory.
• No personal medical data is collected at any point. We do not facilitate appointments, so we have no reason to ask for or store medical information.

3. KVKK Aydınlatma (Türkiye)

6698 sayılı KVKK kapsamında veri sorumlusu sıfatıyla aşağıdaki bilgileri sunarız:

• İşlenen kişisel veriler: e-posta adresi (newsletter / opt-out aboneliği için), klinik temsilcisi iletişim bilgileri (opt-out talebi durumunda).
• İşleme amacı: Aylık verifikasyon güncellemeleri göndermek (newsletter), klinik düzeltme/kaldırma taleplerini yönetmek.
• Hukuki dayanak: KVKK Madde 5/2(f) — meşru menfaat (klinik dizinini güncel tutmak), Madde 5/1 — açık rıza (newsletter aboneliği).
• Aktarım: Verileriniz aşağıdaki hizmet sağlayıcılarına aktarılır:
  • Resend (e-posta hizmeti — ABD merkezli, GDPR uyumlu)
  • Supabase (veritabanı — AB içi sunucular)
  • Vercel (barındırma — küresel CDN)
• Saklama süresi: Newsletter aboneliğiniz boyunca; iptal ettiğinizde 30 gün içinde silinir.
• KVKK Madde 11 hakları: Verilerinize erişme, düzeltme, silme, işlenmesine itiraz etme, taşınabilirlik talep etme hakkınız vardır. Talepler için: [email protected].

4. Data sources (what we publish about clinics)

Hairvise publishes information about hair transplant clinics that is sourced from publicly available channels:

• The clinic's own official website (contact pages, footers, "about" sections)
• ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) member directory at ishrs.org/find-a-doctor
• ABHRS, FISHRS, ESHRS, AAHRS, IAHRS published member lists
• Turkish Ministry of Health public registry of authorized health tourism providers (saglikturizmi.gov.tr)
• Publicly accessible review platforms (Trustpilot, Google Maps)

All published information is verifiable against original sources. We do not buy data, we do not accept payment from listed clinics, and we do not modify rankings based on commercial relationships.

5. Clinic opt-out

If you represent a listed clinic and wish to be removed or have your data corrected, you can submit a verified request at /opt-out. We respond within 48 hours.

6. Cookies

Hairvise uses no marketing cookies, no advertising trackers, and no cross-site cookies. We use:

• Local storage (not technically a cookie) for: cookie banner preference, saved clinics ("bookmarks"), saved comparison sets. This data never leaves your browser.
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous, cookieless analytics. No personal data is collected.

7. What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
• We do not collect medical information.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
• We do not require accounts or sign-ups to use the site.
• We do not accept commissions from clinics.

8. Your rights (GDPR + KVKK)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Turkey: KVKK; in the EU: your country's DPA)

9. Children

Hairvise is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be announced via newsletter. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
